We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established operation in Ellington, working on a modern fleet in a permanent position.

What’s On Offer
* £59,000–£66,000 per year, depending on experience
* £24–£28 per hour on Days
* £27–£31 per hour on Nights
* Overtime paid at 1.5x
* 1.5x overtime rate for Saturdays
* 4 on 4 off shift pattern
* Permanent, full-time position

The Role
As an HGV Technician, you’ll keep the fleet safe, reliable, and operating at its best.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults across the HGV fleet
* Carrying out preventative maintenance and servicing
* Completing repairs and replacing components when required
* Carrying out regular inspections and safety checks
* Maintaining vehicles in line with company and legislative requirements
* Supporting modifications and maintenance of fleet vehicles and ancillary equipment
* Working closely with the wider team to minimise vehicle downtime
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a safe manner
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician with:
* Previous experience working as an HGV / LGV Technician
* Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
* Experience working on Scania trucks is particularly desirable
* A good understanding of vehicle maintenance and repairs
* Strong problem-solving skills
* A proactive, reliable and safety-conscious approach
* A genuine can-do attitude
Shift Pattern
4 days on / 4 days off
Days: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
Nights: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
You can also earn extra money through overtime, with overtime and Saturday hours paid at 1.5x.
