We are recruiting enthusiastic Early Years apprentices and practitioners to join Hockley Community Day Nursery. Support children’s learning, development, care and wellbeing while building a rewarding career. Level 3 and Level 5 apprenticeship candidates are particularly welcome.
What you will do at work
Working alongside experienced Early Years practitioners and room leaders.
Duties will include:
- Supporting children’s learning through play
- Helping to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities
- Observing and recording children’s development
- Supporting daily care routines
- Promoting children’s independence
- Maintaining safe and stimulating learning environments
- Building positive relationships with children and families
Apprentices will complete the relevant Level 3 Early Years apprenticeship programme through the training provider. Training will combine workplace learning, practical experience and off-the-job learning in line with the apprenticeship requirements.
