About this course

Award in Support Work in Schools and Colleges. Study online at your own pace, with live Monday evening sessions over 30 weeks.

The course is for adults aged 19 or over. It covers the knowledge and skills needed to work in a school or college. You'll study six mandatory units covering support roles in learning environments, including working directly with children and young people. It suits a range of roles, from classroom support to administrative and site-based work.

You'll finish with an NCFE Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools and Colleges.

How you will learn

You'll attend live online sessions every Monday from 4pm to 8pm. The course runs over 24 sessions across 30 weeks. You'll complete six mandatory units through online study and tutor-led sessions. Assessment is through written assignments and portfolio evidence. You'll need a laptop or computer to access the sessions. A joining link will be sent to you after enrolment.
