Build on the foundations developed in the Certificate of Higher Education in Computer Science: Software, Networking & AI by progressing onto the Foundation Degree in Software Engineering (Systems & AI). This pathway is designed for students who want to develop advanced software engineering skills while exploring the growing role of data and artificial intelligence within modern technology solutions. Throughout the course, you will develop practical experience in software development, data modelling, virtualised systems, and AI-assisted development techniques. By combining core software engineering principles with emerging technologies, you'll learn how modern applications are designed, built, and maintained to solve complex real-world problems. Alongside technical modules, you will complete work-based learning activities that help develop your professional skills and understanding of industry practice. Upon successful completion of the Foundation Degree, you can progress to the BSc (Hons) Software Engineering (Systems & AI) top-up year, further developing your expertise in software systems, intelligent technologies, and advanced computing solutions.
