Who this course is for

Course Dates: 27 February and 6 March 2027

This comprehensive 12 hour course is designed to give the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to deal effectively with paediatric emergencies. This includes common medical conditions.

It is suitable for:

  • nursery and primary school practitioners
  • childminders
  • nannies
  • pre and after school club staff
  • sport coaches

The course meets the requirements of Ofsted and EYFS.

On successful completion you will get a Paediatric First Aid Certificate (valid for 3 years).

Entry requirements

Learners must be over the age of 19 years oldNo previous experience is required but this course does require a minimum of Level 1 English (or equivalent).In order to gain the certificate you must be suitable able to turn someone into recovery position and demonstrate effective CPR.
