This qualification is aimed at experienced and practicing electrical operatives wishing to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of small-scale grid tied photovoltaic systems and in the design, installation and commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems (Battery Storage). Applicants should be working within the electrical industry and ideally hold a formal level 3 electrical qualification (see entry criteria) and must hold a current BS 7671 qualification.
Entry requirements
A Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671 (current edition) and
A Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations or a combined award including Periodic Inspection & Testing
