This course is suitable for beginners to horology, technician grade DLC students and those wishing to gain more experience ready for exam units D2 (Constructing Small Components, practical test piece) and D5 (Constructing Clock and Watch Components, practical test piece)
Entry requirements
Previous knowledge of hand tools and operation a small lathe is preferable, for those who have no workshop experience please see the BHI website for introduction to small lathe, drilling and milling machines.
