Level 6 Therapeutic Counselling Supervision Course in Bristol. Classes run at Ashley Down Centre, part-time during the day over 18 weeks. This therapeutic counselling supervision course is for practising counsellors who want to move into supervision or develop an existing supervision practice. You'll build the knowledge and skills to offer ethically sound supervision across a broad theoretical range. The course also covers much of the criteria for BACP supervisor accreditation, supporting those considering that route. You'll need a Level 5 professional Diploma or equivalent, 300 to 450 client hours, and to be currently practising as a counsellor.

This course is designed for counselling practitioners who wish to expand their existing practice into the area of counselling supervision or to develop their existing supervision practice. It will equip you with the knowledge and skills to offer ethically sound supervision to other counsellors across a broad theoretical range. The course will also support those who are considering supervisor accreditation with BACP covering much of the criteria required for success in the process.
Entry requirements
Entry to the programme is open to Counselling Practitioners who have:----A professional Diploma at level 5, a Foundation Degree or equivalent--300 to 450 hours of client hours as a counsellor--To be currently practising as a counsellor--You will be required to undertake live supervision during the course--You will also need to be in receipt of at least the BACP minimum of supervision----In addition to the essential requirements it is desirable but not essential to have:----Sufficient hours to achieve personal accreditation as a counsellor with BACP--Be working toward BACP personal accreditation--
