Level 4 IQA Course in Ardersier. Classes run at Fort George, daytime with flexible study over 12 months. This City and Guilds IQA qualification is for people who assess others in a work-based or training setting and want to quality-assure that assessment. You'll develop the skills to monitor and support assessors, sample assessment decisions, and maintain consistent standards. You need to be 19 or over, and you should hold or be working toward a qualification at NVQ Level 3, or have relevant experience in the subject area.
Who this course is for
This is an introductory course for people who are skilled and qualified in a work related area and want to learn to teach or train others. Known as a 'Gateway' course, it won't equip you to be a fully qualified teacher or trainer, but it is the first step to accessing higher level courses that will do so.
Entry requirements
You need to be 19 years or over. You should have achieved or be aiming to achieve a qualification at NVQ level 3 and/or have experience in the subject/skill you wish to teach.

You'll gather records, observation notes, and written accounts that demonstrate your competence as an internal quality assurer. Your assessor will review your evidence and give feedback throughout the course.
