Level 4 Education and Training Course. Work-based training at your workplace. This is a qualification for assessors, trainers, and coaches who are already working in a teaching or training role and want a formal teaching qualification. You complete the course over 12 months, building your skills through your existing practice. Your teaching will be observed and assessed as part of the programme. The course suits a wide range of training contexts, from workplace learning to community education.
Who this course is for
This qualification prepared trainee teachers and trainer coaches to teach in a wide range of contexts, necessitating teaching practice that will require observation and assessment of performance. This qualification is suitable for those who wish to achieve a teaching qualification and who can meet the practice requirements including the observation and assessment of practice. To pass an internally assessed unit, learners must provide adequate evidence to meet all learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
Entry requirements
Suitable for those currently working as assessors/trainers/coaches who can meet the practice requirements including observation and assessment of practice.
What you will learn
You'll develop your understanding of how to plan and deliver effective teaching sessions.
You'll learn how to assess learner progress and give constructive feedback.

You'll build skills in creating inclusive learning environments for diverse groups.
You'll practise reflecting on your own teaching to identify areas for improvement.
You'll learn how to meet the needs of individual learners within a group setting.
How you will learn
