The IMI Accreditation Senior MET Technician Full Route is intended for vehicle technicians who carry out structural and mechanical vehicles repairs typically involved in accidents. If you work in the accident repair sector in the automotive industry and have at least 3 years MET experience, this two-day assessment allows you to prove your motor skills, update your mechanical knowledge, and demonstrate that you can work to the highest industry standard. You will be assessed on your ability to: Replace and refit a range of MET componentsReturn vehicle systems to manufacturer specificationDiagnose and resolve system faultsWork safely, efficiently and professionallyFor garage owners and vehicle technicians working in vehicle maintenance and repair, this IMI Accreditation clearly demonstrates to customers, insurers and employers that you meet recognised MET Standards. Entry requirements
