Level 3 Repair and Maintenance Engineering Course in Swindon. Classes run at F-TEC Swindon on a day or block release basis. This repair and maintenance engineering course is designed for service technicians working on lift trucks and powered access machines. You'll need experience with machines as an engineer, plus knowledge of combustion engines or electric vehicles. Training runs over 6 months, delivered across five one-week blocks. A level 3 repair and maintenance engineering qualification that covers the essential technical knowledge for this specialist field.

Who this course is for

This programme provides the essential knowledge for service technicians working on a range of lift truck and powered access machines. A programme that is suitable for someone who has experience with machines as an engineer, a knowledge of operating principals of combustion engines and/or a knowledge of operating principals of electric vehicles.

The training is delivered over 6 months and includes 5 x 1-week training blocks, these will be run at our dedicated Forklift Truck and Powered Access training centre, based in Swindon. The training is supported by F-TRAC, a distance learning programme which has been specifically designed to support candidates throughout their journey to attain their level three qualification. An F-TEC Technical Trainer will be assigned to help support you through the course.

An interest in engineering and desire to become a repair and maintenance engineer.

How you will learn

Training is delivered in five one-week block release sessions at F-TEC Swindon's dedicated forklift truck and powered access facility. Learning is classroom-based, covering the technical knowledge service technicians need. Assessment methods for this qualification will be confirmed by the centre before you start.
