An Advanced Learner Loan is available for learners aged 19 or over to help cover tuition fees. You repay it through the tax system once your earnings pass a set threshold. You'll need a Level 2 Hair Professional pass or an equivalent qualification to join.

The course covers advanced cutting, colouring, and styling techniques. You'll develop creative skills and learn to manage yourself and others in a salon environment. The course takes around 18 months to complete. You'll finish with a City and Guilds Diploma for Advanced and Creative Hair Professionals at Level 3.
