About this course

Level 3 Domestic Electrical Installer Course in Chesterfield. Classes run at Technique Learning Solutions, full-time over 8 days. You'll need a basic grounding in electrical theory before you start. The course builds on your existing electrical knowledge, covering the inspection, testing, and certification of domestic electrical installations. It's aimed at tradespeople who want to extend their services to customers, including moving or adding to existing electrical systems. A domestic electrical installer qualification at this level opens up work that previously required calling in a separate electrician.

Who this course is for

This Domestic electrical installation course is designed for people wishing to upgrade their existing skills to be able to offer customers further services. The Commercial electrical installation course is aimed at tradesmen like plumbers, kitchen fitters, bathroom installers, etc who no longer want to pay an electrician to add sockets, move existing systems or add an extra light switch etc…

Upon completing this 2 week Domestic electrical installation course, the candidate will have the appropriate knowledge and qualifications to enable them to join one of the Approved Part P membership schemes. This will then enable them to sign off their own work without having to get others involved.
