This allows you to build your knowledge of dementia before beginning Level 3. We would consider applications from learners with a Level 3 or higher qualification in a related subject or those who have significant workplace experience. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis so please get in touch if you feel you meet this criteria.

You will need good IT skills and access to a computer, laptop, or tablet, with regular and reliable internet connection. This can be at home, at work, or in a library. You can check the suitability of this course for a preferred career path or route to employment by looking at various job profiles on the National Careers Service website https://nationalcareers.service.gov.uk/. There is an expectation that if you enrol on this course, you are willing to commit fully to the period of time involved in this course, the associated home study and the assessed work required, and intend to sit the examination if applicable. You should consider your readiness to commit to study and we have a study support toolbox to help you with this: https://www.skillsandlearningace.com/toolbox/ English language skills at Level 2 are required (BKSB Level 2).
