About this course

Level 3 Counselling Course. Study online with Morley College London. You study at your own pace, fitting the course around your existing commitments. The course runs over 33 weeks and covers the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to use counselling skills ethically and safely across a range of roles and settings. To enrol, you'll need a Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills from NCFE CACHE or CPCAB, and Level 2 English and Maths is advised. This level 3 counselling qualification does not qualify you to practise as a counsellor, but it is a recognised step toward accredited counsellor status.

Who this course is for

This course will give you the underpinning knowledge, skills, and competencies to use counselling skills ethically and safely in a variety of contexts and roles. This qualification is designed for learners interested in using counselling skills as part of their functional role in a wide range of sector areas, or looking to progress towards accredited counsellor status with one of the counselling professional accrediting bodies. This qualification does not qualify learners to practise as a counsellor.

Entry requirements

NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (Not Self-directed study) or CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in counselling skills . Learners are advised to have Level 2 English and Maths as you will be assessed through coursework. You will complete an online application and have an interview with one of the course tutors prior to enrolment.
