This Cooker/Space Heating CAT 2 Training is designed to support gas engineers who are planning to undergo their CKR1 or HTR1 Initial Assessments or who require refresher training for their Reassessment in either of these categories. The training is completed over the course of one day and covers all the key knowledge and trade skills required to complete either assessment successfully. You will cover installation, connection, maintenance, fault-finding and repair together with all the relevant health and safety information and all the latest regulatory requirements and best practice. The course is aimed at anyone who works in the domestic energy market who fits and commissions gas -uelled appliances such as cookers and wall-mounted gas heaters and is delivered in a way to ensure you have the best chance of securing your accreditation so that you can start or continue to work in this sector.
Entry requirements
Candidates must already be accredited with either (CCN1) Domestic Gas Safety or (COCDN1) Changeover from Commercial Core to Domestic Gas and be Gas Safe Registered for a minimum of 6 months for any additional appliances.
