This VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies is a comprehensive and practical course, ideal for individuals who want to gain a recognised qualification as a Complementary Therapist, Aromatherapist, Reflexologist or Massage Therapist/Practitioner.This qualification has specifically been designed for the learners aged 16 and over and builds on existing knowledge and understanding of complementary therapies gained at Level 2, enabling learners to expand the scope of their technical skills to prepare learners for employment in the NHS or self-employment as a complementary therapist in private practice.

Entry requirements

Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in Complementary Therapies and/or a successful skills test and interview.

  • You'll learn how to carry out aromatherapy treatments, including blending essential oils safely.

Assessment includes practical observations, where you'll demonstrate treatments on clients, as well as written assignments and knowledge assessments. You'll be observed carrying out a range of complementary therapy treatments to show competence across the qualification.
