This VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies is a comprehensive and practical course, ideal for individuals who want to gain a recognised qualification as a Complementary Therapist, Aromatherapist, Reflexologist or Massage Therapist/Practitioner.This qualification has specifically been designed for the learners aged 16 and over and builds on existing knowledge and understanding of complementary therapies gained at Level 2, enabling learners to expand the scope of their technical skills to prepare learners for employment in the NHS or self-employment as a complementary therapist in private practice.

Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in Complementary Therapies and/or a successful skills test and interview.

You'll study anatomy and physiology relevant to complementary therapy practice.

How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions combining practical hands-on practice with underpinning theory. Assessment includes practical observations, where you'll demonstrate treatments on clients or models, alongside written assignments and knowledge tests. You'll build a portfolio of evidence throughout the course. The 270 hours of training gives you time to develop and refine your technique before assessment.
