About this course

Level 3 Children's Learning and Development (Early Years Educator) Course. Study online. You study at your own pace, with one-to-one support for guidance and feedback, so you can fit learning around your work in an early years setting. The course takes around 12 months and covers child development, safeguarding, equality and inclusion, assessment practice, and health and wellbeing. You must be working in an early years setting in England to enrol, and you'll need GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.

Who this course is for

The Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development (Early Years Educator) is for learners who work in, or want to work with children in Early Years settings in England only.

The course provides learners with the opportunity to demonstrate competence as an Early Years Educator, Child Minder or Nursery Nurse, to develop knowledge and skills related to the specified job roles in early years education and achieve a nationally-recognised Level 3 qualification. Learners will also develop their own personal growth and engagement in learning.

Because you're assessed in the workplace, you must be employed or placed in an early years setting in England for the duration of the course.
