Level 3 Beauty Therapy Massage Course in Chesterfield. Classes run at The White Rose School of Beauty Chesterfield, during the day on a flexible timetable. Various funding options are available and will be discussed at interview, so fees may or may not apply depending on your circumstances. This beauty therapy massage qualification covers body massage, Indian head massage, pre-blended aromatherapy massage, and the planning of promotional activities. You'll also learn how to monitor safe working procedures. The course runs to 312 hours in total.

Who this course is for

This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 or over and will support you to gain employment as a beauty massage therapist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role. Throughout this qualification you will monitor procedures to safely control work operations, contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities, provide body massage treatments, provide Indian head massage, carry out massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils and provide stone therapy treatments

Entry requirements

You must have achieved a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in the Beauty industry or have some pre-requisite qualifications to enable you to complete the course to its full potential. This will be discussed upon an initial interview with our recruitment team. You must be 16 or over to do this course via apprentice routes or 19 and over to complete this course via access to Advanced Learner Loans.

How you will learn

This is a classroom-based course with flexible daytime attendance at The White Rose School of Beauty Chesterfield. As an NVQ, assessment is competence-based. You'll be assessed through observed practical demonstrations, portfolio evidence, and knowledge assessments. Your assessor will evaluate your ability to carry out treatments to the required standard in a salon environment.
