Level 3 Assessor Course in Paignton. Classes run at South Devon College, part-time during the day, over 52 weeks. This level 3 assessor qualification is designed for people who assess occupational competence in the workplace and vocational skills in workshop, classroom, or training environments. You must be 19 or over to enrol, and you'll need a relevant vocational qualification at Level 2 before you start. Assessment is by portfolio of evidence. Please note this course is full cost.
Who this course is for
This qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in a workshop, classroom or other training environment other than assessing competence in a work environment.This qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence which must cover all assessment criteria of the units selected. Please note, you must 19+ to complete this qualification.Please note that this specific course is �full cost�, meaning that it is not eligible for tuition fee or bursary support. The course fees are to be paid by the student. Depending on the duration of the course, the fees may be eligible to be split over a monthly Direct Debit plan (a Direct Debit fee of �15 would apply).

How you will learn
You'll attend daytime classes at South Devon College and build a portfolio of evidence throughout the course. The portfolio must cover all assessment criteria across the units you complete. You'll gather evidence from real assessment practice in both workplace and training environments. There are no written exams. Your portfolio is submitted for verification at the end of the course.
What you will need to bring
The centre will provide most materials. South Devon College will confirm anything else you need before you start. You will need access to learners you can assess as part of your portfolio evidence, in either a workplace or training environment.
