About this course

Level 3 Art and Design Course in Westminster. Classes run at Lisson Grove Centre on a part-time daytime schedule, two days a week in terms one and two, and one day a week in term three. This year-long art and design course covers research, skill-based workshops, and experimentation with a range of techniques and materials. You'll develop your creative practice and build a portfolio of finished work, showcased at an end-of-year show. The course is open to all applicants. Concessions are available on fees.

Who this course is for

Please note: This is a year-long course. In term one and two, this course runs on Thursdays and Friday, 09.30-16.00. In term 3, it runs on Thursdays only, 09.30-16.00 This UAL accredited course is designed to progress further your creative and practical fashion design skills. Through research, skill-based workshops and experimentation with a range of techniques and materials, you will learn more advanced creative fashion techniques. The garments you create will be showcased in the end of year fashion show. This qualification is designed to give you every possible chance to develop your skills, competencies and knowledge that are required to study at a higher level in fashion design and/or a successful future in the wider fashion industry.

How you will learn

Classes are classroom based, running at Lisson Grove Centre on set days each week. In terms one and two, a tutor guides you through class exercises and projects covering the creative process and developing creative practice. In term three, you work to a set brief, developing and producing your own work. Assessment is through your portfolio and the finished pieces you create during the course.
