About this course

Level 3 Art and Design Course in Bristol. Classes run at College Green Centre, full-time during the day.

This course builds on a 90 Credit Diploma in the course. Over one year, you'll develop technical skills in areas such as graphic design and interactive design. You'll work on real briefs and design challenges, and take part in work experience opportunities. The course encourages independent creative thinking alongside practical craft.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel Extended Diploma in Art and Design at Level 3.

Who this course is for

As the course is a continuation from the 90 Credit Diploma, its main objective is to extend on prior learning, develop more technical skills, whilst encouraging independent creative learning. The aim is to provide students with the skills they need to work adequately in Employment or Higher Education.--This course is part of a wider study programme, which includes a tutorial and personal development element, work experience opportunities through outside set projects and design challenges, development of English and Maths Skills through embedded activities.

Entry requirements

You must have achieved a 90 Credit Diploma in Art & Design, ideally within Interactive Design or Graphic Design, with a Pass grade in order to progress onto the Extended Diploma. We are happy to accept people from other institutes who have completed a 90 Credit Diploma. In this case we will require a list of units already achieved and have this verified by your previous tutor/college.
