About this course

Free Level 3 Adult Care Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You learn while you work, applying your skills directly in a health or social care setting. The course covers communication, safeguarding, person-centred care, health and safety, and your duties as a care worker. You'll also choose optional units to broaden your knowledge. To enrol, you need to be working, volunteering, or on a practical placement in a care setting. The course typically takes 6 months.

Who this course is for

All those who wish to work or are working in a lead adult care worker role with adults in health and social care settings.

Entry requirements

Learners will need to be working, volunteering or on practical placement as they will need to show competence in both knowledge and skills.
