Level 2 YMCA Fitness Instructing Course in Bristol. Classes run at South Bristol Skills Academy, part-time during the day, over 10 weeks. The course covers gym-based exercise instruction, helping you develop the knowledge and practical skills to work as a fitness instructor. All tutors are qualified instructors, personal trainers, or gym managers. To enrol, you'll need GCSE grade D/E in English or an equivalent qualification, along with some awareness of gym use and exercise participation. Personal fitness experience is an advantage.

Pursue a career in the health and fitness industry as a fitness instructor in the context of gym-based exercise. All of our tutors are qualified Instructors, Personal Trainers or Gym Managers, so have a wide understanding of the industry.
