Level 2 Saddlery Course in Enfield. Classes run at Capel Manor College - Enfield Centre, part-time during the day, over one year.

The course covers traditional and modern saddlery production methods. You'll work with saddles, harnesses, and bridles, building practical craft skills in leather and equestrian equipment. Entry requires at least four GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including English and maths, plus GCSE science or an equivalent Level 1 qualification.

You'll finish with a City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Saddle, Harness and Bridle Making.

Who this course is for

This two-year course will introduce you to the saddlery industry and cover traditional and modern saddlery production methods. Completion of both our Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas in Saddle, Harness and Bridle Making will give you a prestigious Worshipful Company of Cordwainers’ Diploma in Saddle, Harness and Bridle Making.

Entry requirements

At least four GCSEs at Grade 3 and above (D and above) including English and maths. You will have studied GCSE science or an equivalent Level 1 qualification. We will also consider your prior learning and any experience gained in an appropriate professional environment.

Before you start your course, if you are aged between 16 and 18 years, you will be required to attend a fun and practical two-day preparation workshop where you will meet your tutors and other students on your course. Further
