Who this course is for

This course will enable you to develop knowledge and understanding of a broad range of health and social care services and careers within different settings. At the same time, you will be extending your skills in communication and interpersonal interaction.

Entry requirements

Ideally some work experience in a health and social care setting. Although you do not need it to complete the course, we recommend some voluntary work or a part-time position alongside, prior to applying to Access. No formal qualifications are needed, however, English and Maths functional skills or ESOL are welcome. You must demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to the course.
