Free Level 2 Health and Social Care Course in Croydon. Classes run at Croydon College. You'll study full-time during the day, covering the knowledge and skills needed to work across health, social care, early years, and community settings. The course runs for 35 weeks and explores the issues that shape the care sector today. To enrol, you'll need three GCSEs at grade 3 or above (including English and maths), or a related Level 1 vocational qualification. A DBS check is required once you're enrolled.
Who this course is for
This one year course aims to give a broad understanding of the knowledge and skills that are essential when working with people. You will develop and sustain an interest in health, early years and education, social care, youth and community and issues that affect the care sector.
Entry requirements
3 GCSEs grade 9-3 (A*-D) or a related Level 1 vocational qualification including, English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered. You will also need to complete a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check once enrolled, which the College will pay for if you are aged between 16�18 when you start the course.
