Entry requirements

A minimum of three GCSEs is desirable, including a grade 3 in English, a grade 3 in Maths and in Science. Additionally, achieving a Merit in your previous Level 1 vocational subject is required.

How you will learn

You'll learn through practical, hands-on sessions in a salon environment at Slough and Langley College, supported by classroom-based teaching. Assessment is through a combination of practical observations, where your technique is assessed directly, and written or online tests covering underpinning knowledge. You'll be assessed across all 11 mandatory units throughout the course.
