About this course

Level 2 Hairdressing Course in Grays. Classes run at South Essex College of Further and Higher Education, part-time during the day. The course runs over 12 months, so you can build your skills at a manageable pace alongside other commitments. You'll cover cutting, colouring, and styling women's hair, plus client consultation, shampooing and conditioning, and health and safety in the salon. To enrol, you'll need two GCSEs at grade D or above in maths and English, a Level 1 hairdressing qualification, or an equivalent. You'll also need to buy a hairdressing kit before you start, at an additional cost.

Progression from this course would be on to the level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing.
