About this course

Level 2 Gym Instructor Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting learning around your existing commitments. The course is free if you're 16 to 18 years old. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply.

This gym instructor qualification covers exercise science, health and safety in a gym environment, planning gym-based exercise, and supporting clients to exercise safely. You study over two years, working through the material when it suits you. The course is awarded by NCFE.

You'll finish with an NCFE Certificate in Gym Instructing at Level 2.
