It will prepare you for the Level 2 Functional Skills Maths course, familiarising you with the content, level and expectations. Please note that you will need to complete and pass an initial assessment before starting this course.
Entry requirements
You need to have established Maths skills at Level 2 on the BKSB initial assessment as a minimum. You should also have language skills corresponding to Level 2 as a minimum. This can be evidenced through the initial screening or a GCSE English grade C/Grade 4/Functional Skills Level 2 English or above (you need to bring evidence of this).
