The City & Guilds Level 2 Cycle Maintenance Course is a professional qualification for those who know the basics but want to improve their bike maintenance skills to an industry standard. It is for anyone wanting to work or seeking progression in the cycle industry by gaining an accredited bicycle mechanic qualification to put on their CV. Each module of the course consists of a theory session, a tutor demonstration, an opportunity for learners to practice techniques and concludes with an assessed practical and written theory test. Entry requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be 19 or over on the start date of the course. You are expected to have a basic knowledge of bikes and bike tools, and the ability to use them. An interview will need to be conducted with the tutor before enrolling on the course.
