About this course

Level 2 Counselling Course. Study online, at your own pace, from wherever suits you. It's free for some learners, and fees may apply for others depending on your age, residency, and circumstances. This course introduces counselling skills and explores how to use them in everyday life and work. You'll look at the knowledge and approaches behind helping interactions, and practise using those skills appropriately. There are no specific entry requirements. Please note: this level 2 counselling qualification does not qualify you to practise as a counsellor.

Who this course is for

This qualification aims to introduce learners to the use of counselling skills in everyday life and work, and some of the approaches that underpin the use of these skills. This qualification gives learners the opportunity to investigate the knowledge and skills needed to use counselling skills and engage in a helping interaction appropriately. This qualification does not qualify learners to practise as a counsellor. Please note: This course provision is based in Newcastle.
