Level 2 Car Mechanic Course in Bristol. Classes run full-time at South Bristol Skills Academy, five days a week during the day. The course takes one year to complete. You'll study a wide range of practical skills in fully equipped workshops, alongside mechanical theory and related subjects. The level 2 car mechanic qualification covers light vehicle maintenance and repair principles. You'll need three GCSEs at grades A to D, including Maths and English, to enrol. A Level 1 Vehicle Maintenance Qualification is useful but not required.

If you are looking for a job in the motor vehicle industry, then this course could lead to it. This course is more advanced than the level 1 course has been developed to meet the needs of the motor industry. You will learn a wide range of relevant practical skills in our fully equipped modern workshops and also includes mechanical theory and related subjects.
