What you will learn
You'll learn facial and skincare treatments, including cleansing, toning and moisturising routines

You'll practise manicure and pedicure services to a professional standard
You'll study anatomy and physiology relevant to beauty therapy
You'll learn how to consult with clients and adapt treatments to individual needs
You'll understand health, safety and hygiene standards in a salon environment

How you will learn
You'll learn through practical, hands-on sessions in a salon-style environment at Kingston College. Assessment combines practical observations, where an assessor watches you carry out treatments, with written assignments and knowledge tests. You'll build a portfolio of evidence as you progress through the course. Some units are assessed by external examination set by VTCT.
