Level 2 Animal Care Course in Stroud. Classes run at SGS Stroud Campus, full-time during the day. This is a full-time programme covering around 432 hours of study. Fees apply, though students aged 16 to 18 years old pay a significantly reduced fee, and concessions may be available for those aged 19 or over. You'll study animal husbandry, health, behaviour, and welfare across a range of species. The course builds practical and theoretical knowledge for roles working with animals in a variety of settings.
Who this course is for
Most full-time courses at SGS are for learners aged 16-18 with some provision available for those aged 14 plus on request. If you are aged 19 and over then formal qualifications that are a prerequisite for younger age groups may not be suitable.
