What you will learn
You'll build stud walls and understand basic structural framing.
You'll fit door linings and hang doors, including in older or uneven frames.
You'll install skirting boards, architrave, and pipe boxing.
You'll lay laminate flooring.
You'll carry out timber repairs and prepare surfaces to a paint-ready finish.
You'll construct a cabinet-style meter box build.
You'll use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
How you will learn
Training is classroom and workshop based, with hands-on practical tasks throughout the 9 days. You'll work through a range of carpentry jobs in sequence, building skills progressively. Assessment is practical. After the course, tutor support is available by phone, email, WhatsApp, or in person.
