Level 1 Learning, Employability and Progression Course in Croydon. Classes run at John Ruskin College, full-time during the day over 34 weeks. The course builds employability skills through volunteering, enterprise projects, and work experience. You also develop personal and social skills through a tutorial programme with close pastoral support. The course is designed to lead to paid employment in your local community. No formal entry requirements apply, though the course is aimed at those who have completed at least one year of post-16 provision and are not looking for further academic study.

The centre will provide most materials. John Ruskin College will confirm anything else you need before you start. There may be additional costs for equipment and educational visits. You'll be told about these at your interview, and they'll be payable at enrolment.
