About this course

Level 1 Construction Skills Course in Broxbourne. Classes run at Hertford Regional College Broxbourne Campus, full-time during the day.

The course runs for 35 weeks. You'll build practical hand skills across several trades. Topics include bricklaying, carpentry, plastering, and painting and decorating. You'll also develop your understanding of the construction industry. If you don't already have maths and English qualifications, you'll work toward those too.

You'll finish with a City and Guilds Diploma in Construction Skills.

This level 1 Multiskills programme is designed to support a general understanding of the construction industry and build hand skills at E3/L1. Assignments and assessments have been selected to support both learners academic and hand skills development. Opportunities for extension tasks supporting learners business development are available.

A keen passion to progress and work within the construction industry.You will also complete maths and English qualifications if you havent got them already as they are essential in this industry.
