It is essential that you commit to attending all classes and practise in your own time to reinforce your learning.

What you will learn

  • You'll learn the core vocabulary and signs used in everyday BSL conversations.
  • You'll develop your ability to use BSL grammar and sentence structure.

How you will learn

Classes are taught face-to-face at College Green Centre. You'll learn through interactive group activities, tutor-led demonstrations, and paired practice with other learners. Outside class, you'll complete around 26 hours of private study and practice to reinforce what you've covered. Assessment is based on your practical signing skills and your understanding of BSL in use.
