Do you want to gain a Maths GCSE but feel unsure about your current skills? This "Getting Ready for GCSE Maths" course is designed for you. It will prepare you for the GCSE Maths Foundation Tier course by familiarising you with the content, level, and expectations. You'll build confidence and test your abilities before committing to the full qualification. Please note that you will need to complete and pass an initial assessment before starting this course.
Entry requirements
You need to have established Maths skills at Level 2 on the BKSB initial assessment as a minimum. You should also have language skills corresponding to Level 2 as a minimum. This can be evidenced through the initial screening or a GCSE English grade C/Grade 4/Functional Skills Level 2 English or above (you need to bring evidence of this).
