About this course

GCSE English Language Course in Camden. Classes run at Maria Fidelis Catholic School FCJ, full-time during the day over one year.

The course covers reading and analysing texts from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. You'll also develop your writing skills, working on clarity, vocabulary, and sentence structure. Two exam papers make up the assessment: one focused on creative reading and writing, the other on writers' viewpoints and perspectives. Spoken language is also part of the course.

To join, you must already be enrolled on an A Level programme at the centre. You'll finish with a GCSE in English Language, awarded by AQA.
