You'll understand the roles and responsibilities involved in supporting learners in schools and colleges.
You'll learn how schools and colleges are organised and how they operate day to day.
You'll explore how to communicate effectively with children, young people, and colleagues.
You'll understand how to support the wellbeing and safeguarding of children and young people.
You'll learn about professional behaviour and the importance of confidentiality in a school setting.
You'll understand how to contribute positively to the learning environment.
How you will learn
You'll study online through written learning materials and knowledge-based assessments. Assessment is through questions and tasks that test your understanding of working in schools and colleges. Everything is completed online, so there are no classroom sessions or practical observations required for this qualification.
