Free Teaching Assistant Level 2 Course. Study online, at your own pace, over 12 weeks. This free teaching assistant course is fully funded by East Riding of Yorkshire Council for eligible residents. You study through an online platform, so you can fit learning around your other commitments without travelling to a centre. The course covers supporting children and young people, understanding autism, managing challenging behaviour, and safeguarding. You'll work toward three NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificates as part of the programme. Completing the course gives you a recognised level 2 teaching assistant qualification to take into schools and education settings.

If you live in West Yorkshire and are eligible, you can join this funded programme and gain teaching assistant qualifications. You will study online over 12 weeks, with support at every stage to help you succeed.
Entry requirements
Aged 19 or over. Live in West Yorkshire region. Must have the right to work and study in the UK. Must commit to 12-week online course. Motivated to work in the education and child support sector.

How you will learn
You study entirely online through a learning platform, working through course materials at your own pace. Assessment is through written assignments and knowledge checks completed online. You submit work digitally and receive feedback from your tutor throughout the 12 weeks. No classroom attendance is required.
