The Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Post 14 Further Education and Skills Level 7 is to develop outstanding teachers for the UK Further Education and Skills sector, as well as for Post-14 education in other domestic and international settings. By completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Education Post 14 (Education and Training) you will achieve 60 credits at Level 7 which can support your progression onto a Master's qualification. Successful completion of this course qualifies you to apply for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status, which shows professionalism for post-14 education and training.
Entry requirements
An undergraduate degree (minimum 2:2), a minimum of Level 2 in English and maths. You will be required to have at least 75 hours of teaching across each year and be supported by a mentor.
