Academic and practical skills will be developed through several methods including formal lectures, guest speakers and research development tasks. You will have access to our animal care unit including the Blue Cross Cattery.

Entry requirements

Successful completion of a Level 4 qualification in Animal Studies/Management is a requirement to study the Animal Management (Animal Behaviour and Welfare) HND Level 5 (Top-Up) . You will also need a minimum of a grade 4 in GCSE maths, English and Science or its equivalent and the ability to demonstrate meaningful work experience. Individual cases will be considered.
