About this course

Free Level 5 End-Point Assessment for Leader in Adult Care Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You complete this as part of the Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship, learning while you work in a care setting. It covers business development, financial control, managing risk, and leading organisational change. The course runs over 20 months, combining on-the-job and off-the-job training. You must be working in a care setting at the appropriate level and hold a current DBS check. Roles include residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, community day centres, and clinical healthcare settings.

Who this course is for

The Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship is aimed at individuals working in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, community day centres, a person’s own home or some clinical healthcare settings. The individual will be responsible for business development, financial control, organisational resilience and continuity as well as for managing risk and leading on organisational change. The course will qualify individuals at level 5 through a mixture of on an off the job training.
