Who is this qualification for?

The VTCT Skills (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling is an advanced therapy qualification aimed at level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add this therapy to their repertoire of treatment offerings. Learners are required to hold a level 3 beauty therapy qualification or equivalent

  • You'll learn the principles underpinning skin needling treatments and how they work on the skin.
  • You'll develop the practical skills to carry out skin needling safely and effectively in a commercial setting.
  • You'll study anatomy and physiology relevant to skin needling procedures.

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Brighton MET Central Campus, attending one day per week. Assessment covers all mandatory units and includes both theoretical and practical elements, in line with the requirements set by VTCT Skills (ITEC). You'll be assessed on your knowledge of skin needling principles and on your ability to carry out treatments to a commercial standard.
